(1) WINDSPEED/LIVELOAD
By submitting a payment, you acknowledge that it is your sole responsibility to know the windspeed and live load specifications required by your local Building Department (city or county). Deluxe Patio Covers LLC. will customize your KIT accordingly, but it is your duty to inform our representative of these requirements. Unless otherwise requested, all Kits are manufactured for 110 mph winds and a 10 lb snow load (Exposure B).
(2) RETURN POLICY
All material is custom manufactured and made-to-order for each customer. Deluxe Patio Covers LLC. does not offer refunds or accept returns for ordered material. If you do not use all the material purchased during your build, please dispose of it; we do not accept returns or offer refunds for unused material.
In the event of extenuating circumstances, and only if approved by management, any authorized return will be subject to a 50% restocking fee of the total amount charged. This requires the material to be returned to the manufacturer’s facility at the customer’s expense. No returns to the manufacturer will be authorized after 10 days of receipt.
(3) DAMAGE OR MISSING PARTS
By submitting a payment, you agree that you are solely responsible for inspecting all material upon delivery or pickup for any damage or missing parts.

For Pickups: If you are picking up your patio cover, any damaged material must not leave the manufacturer’s yard. You must immediately contact both the manufacturer and Deluxe Patio Covers LLC. Damage claimed after the material has left the manufacturer’s facility will not be eligible for compensation or replacement.

For Deliveries: You must notify Deluxe Patio Covers LLC. of any damage or missing parts WITHIN 5 DAYS of receiving your KIT. Claims for damage or missing parts made after this 5-day period will not be honored by the manufacturer, and Deluxe Patio Covers LLC. will be unable to process such a claim. In that event, the customer will be required to purchase the replacement material.
(4) INJURY, STRUCTURAL DAMAGE, AND INSTALLATION ISSUES
It is the responsibility of the homeowner and/or the hired contractor to ensure the cover is installed according to the provided assembly instructions and engineering requirements. The assembly instructions are a general guideline. Full technical details can be found in the engineering packet (available upon request if the kit falls within engineering restrictions). Custom orders outside the scope of standard engineering do not include custom assembly instructions.
Deluxe Patio Covers LLC. is not liable for personal injury or property damage sustained during or after construction. Please do not hesitate to use our professional phone support to ask any questions during your project to ensure a correct and safe installation!
(5) DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS
Delivery service will be provided to customers who have purchased this service and reside in approved regions. Please note that a truck with a trailer must be able to safely access your neighborhood. If the driver deems access to be impossible or unsafe, your material will be held at the nearest transfer station for the customer to arrange their own pickup.
(6) CUSTOMER WILL-CALL (PICKUP) REQUIREMENTS
It is the customer’s responsibility to arrive for pickup with a vehicle appropriate for transporting construction materials (e.g., a truck with a ladder rack, a flatbed trailer, or a box trailer). Loading will be denied for inappropriate vehicles.

Minors are not permitted in or outside the vehicle at the manufacturer’s facility.

Closed-toed shoes are mandatory.

Customers who miss their scheduled pickup appointment will be charged a $300 fee by the manufacturer.

It is your responsibility to inspect the order for damage or missing parts. Once the order leaves the facility, the customer assumes all liability.
(7) TIME COMPENSATION
Please DO NOT schedule your build until you have received your KIT and thoroughly inspected it. Do not schedule time off from work to receive the kit until you have confirmed the delivery date and time. Deluxe Patio Covers LLC. is not liable for compensating lost time due to delayed or rescheduled deliveries.
(8) ORDER HOLDS
The price quoted and paid by the customer is based on the current aluminum costs charged by the manufacturer. The customer acknowledges that manufacturing will begin immediately after payment is made. An order hold on manufacturing will not be authorized for more than 30 days. If a customer needs to place an order on hold for more than 30 days, the original payment will be refunded, and the customer may place a new order when ready at the retail price current at that time.
(9) MATERIALS
Deluxe Patio Covers LLC. sources wood-grain aluminum from two different manufacturers: Amerimax Building Products (maker of Alumawood) and Duralum Products (maker of Weatherwood). Our software selects the manufacturer based on material price to ensure our customers get the best possible deal. The material is equivalent in quality, strength, and durability. If the customer requires a specific manufacturer, this must be communicated to your sales representative at the time of quoting. Deluxe Patio Covers LLC. does not offer refunds or returns for a change in manufacturer once the kit has been produced.
(10) LEAD TIMES AND BACK ORDERS
Deluxe Patio Covers LLC. provides customers with estimated lead times based on current manufacturer production and delivery averages. Should unforeseen circumstances occur (such as a material backorder, or delays due to geographic location or weather), we will inform the customer as soon as possible to update expectations. Deluxe Patio Covers LLC. does not offer compensation for delays.
(11) SOFTWARE MALFUNCTIONS
As our pricing is calculated instantly online based on user selections in our Design Software, Deluxe Patio Covers LLC. reserves the right to refund purchases resulting from a software malfunction where the correct price was not displayed. In these circumstances, all purchases will be refunded in full, or the customer may opt to pay the difference. Incorrect prices due to an error will not be honored.
